  • Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the European Solidarity Corps  Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

  • Accommodation and food

Accommodation and food will be covered by the organisers during the residential event. Please follow any possible COVID-regulations before the event.

Accommodation can be provided also for the night from 10-11 October for participants that prefer/need to arrive a day earlier in order to be present at the start of the meeting.

Travel reimbursement

–  for participants from Programme Countries according to relevant sending NA/SALTO

– for participants from Partner Countries reimbursed by the organisers along with relevant visa costs.

If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.

European Solidarity Corps Quality Label Experts meeting

International Quality Label Experts meeting is a meeting for internal and external Quality Label experts of National Agencies and SALTO’s.

The International Quality Label Experts meeting is a meeting of internal and external Quality Label experts held every second year focusing on the European Solidarity Corps Quality Label procedures.

The meeting will be an opportunity for sharing experiences with Quality Label – accreditations in Programme and Partner countries, finding common understanding of quality standards in the Quality (QL) process, better understanding of knowledge of the Quality Label and the role of experts in the process of QL. At the same time, the meeting should support the motivation of experts and their personal and professional development needed for further work within the Quality Label and European Solidarity Corps topic. The meeting should also significantly contribute to improving the quality of the process of Quality Label as such.

The meeting is organised by the Polish NA in cooperation with the European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre, the QL Working Group, SALTO EECA, SALTO SEE, Austrian NA.

Objectives of the Meeting

The overall aim of the meeting  is improving  the quality of the existing  Quality Label (QL) process and of the work of QL experts.

Quality Label experts will have the opportunity to

  • share experiences and tools, learn from each other, harness the expertise and knowledge existing in the network of the QL experts;
  • facilitate connections and consolidate community culture among external and internal QL experts;
  • learn about the new QL process in the Solidarity Corps Programme and the procedures for the different actions directly from the Commission;
  • reflect and discuss on the different roles of the QL experts;
  • have space and time to reflect on the specific challenges of our times – and formulate recommendations for the future of the European Solidarity Corps programme

The target group of the Meeting

The meeting is addressed to representatives of National Agencies and SALTO Resource Centres responsible for the Quality Label agenda, for external Quality Label experts with long-term as well as short-term experience from programme and partner countries.

The meeting will be held residential in the European Volunteering capital Gdansk, Poland.
