The main objective of COSMOOC is to reflect collectively on the different steps of an international project and produce a MOOC to spread the results. We will mix youth workers and youngsters.

COSMOOC International project management: From the idea to action

Any amazing realization starts with an idea, an emotion, a vision and everyone who initiate something like that has to confront step by step his/her dreams to reality. Slowly, actions will become possible and will fit in the environment, find their right audience and meet the objectives of all participants. Ideas need to evolve and we have to follow them to make the impossible become possible!

COSMOOC AND PROJECTS : WHY ?

The main objective of COSMOOC AND PROJECTS is to reflect collectively on the different steps of an international project and share experiences and knowledge. Because these ideas could help a lot of people we will spread the through a MOOC. And because we are talking about youth project, we will have youngsters integrated to the seminar to realize this MOOC!
International projects can be very different. Their sizes, their objects, their durations, their budgets represent a wide variety of options. But, they all meet at the same point: they are necessary steps to get from the idea to the reality.
Each one of these various phases of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work are essential in order to achieve specific goals and meet expectations. We will have sessions of work dedicated to each stage of a project (ideas, partnership, fundings, communication, evaluation …) and we will mix workshops, visit and inspiring keynote speakers.
The seminar is designed to be a collaborative laboratory to share and experience learning methods and tools. The focus is on Project management and how to use video media as a useful tool to spread good practices about international Youth projects.

The main idea is to mix a group of 15 youthworkers with a group of 12 youngsters to both reflect on what is need to build a great international project and realize a Mooc (Massive Online Open Course) to spread all the brilliant advices/ tips/ recommendations this seminar will enable to collect.

So COSMOOC AND PROJECTS is opened to experienced European youth workers for 3 full days of work (April 25th -27th ; travels on the 24th and 28th ), willing to share innovative ideas, visit local projects, meet inspiring people, and build material that will help other to realize incredible international projects in the future.
This project is also open to a group of youngsters from different backgrounds /countries and supported by organizations involved in international youth projects. The youngsters will be actively involved in the creation of the video MOOC with the support of a professional team (Urban Prod). This part of the seminar will take place between April 21st and 29th.
