Costs: This project is financed by Erasmus+ programme. Costs for accommodation, food and programme activities are covered fully. According to the rules within the Programme “Erasmus+ Youth in Action” we will reimburse the travel costs on the basis of the cheapest possibilities, e.g. second class railway tickets, APEX-flights etc., accompanied by the receipt of complete and original tickets, invoices, bills, receipts, boarding cards etc. upon a certain “contribution to the travel costs of participants, from their place of origin to the venue of the activity and return”. This contribution is “based on the travel distance per participant. Travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator supported by the European Commission”. Travel reimbursement will be done after the meeting by bank transfer. The contribution is as follows:

Further a fee of EUR 45 is charged for participation in the seminar. The amount is paid in cash by the participant on the spot (arrival day, registration and check in).
Raising the Bar: Good EVS practices
The aim this seminar is to provide more EVS opportunities and ensure quality standards within network of organizations for personal and professional orientation for young people through mobility. “Raising the Bar” is part of the long term project “VGE”.
The aim of this seminar is to share good EVS practices with the organizations participating in the project, promoting the new EVS charter and build capacity of the organizations for work with the EVS program.
Objectives for this activity are:
– To recognize the benefits delivering quality EVS and find solutions for challenges the organizations are facing working with EVS
– To recognize and be able to reach the young people with fewer opportunities;
– To recognize the needs of the organization, local community and the young people with fewer opportunities;
– To learn for Erasmus+ program and share experience with successful projects;
– Match organizational, local and young people needs.
Organizer
CGE Erfurt e.V. is a non-profit, non-governmental organization situated in Erfurt, founded and run by young professionals, who are designing, implementing and evaluating local and international youth projects. CGE Erfurt e.V. has more than 10 years of experience creating educational concepts, that allow participants to develop a self-defined strategy of learning in the framework of non-formal education. The aims of our organisation are
1. to develop and implement programs in non-formal education for young people and adults in Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany and Europe
2. to convey values like peace, democracy, solidarity and sustainability
3. to support active citizenship and the integration of all people despite their social status, origin, skin colour, religion, sex etc. in the society
4. to create active and solution-orientated activities; to address problems and challenges of the society in the fields of education, environment, politics, economy, social, law and culture
5. to sensibilze for cultural diversity and to fight against racism, discrimination, group-focused enmity and nationalism
The implementation goes trough diverse learning opportunities like Training Courses, seminars, workshops, study visits, youth exchanges, work-camps, volunteer services, symposia, conferences, forums and other formats with local, regional, national, European and other international partners on local, regional, national, European and international level through non-formal education in the fields of:
1. civic youth and adult education
2. environmental and outdoor youth and adult education
3. cultural youth and adult education
4. inter cultural youth and adult education
5. social youth and adult education
6. health and well-being
6. media pedagogic youth and adult education
