Escape to Europe

This TC is organized to discover how “live escape games” could be used as a tool to work with youth. We will learn how to design escape games, create props, organize reflection sessions and use this entertainment as a tool to work with young people.

NGO Creation and Innovation Lab is creating educational experiments. One of the most succeeded experiments is to create live escape games at schools, open youth centers and cultural centers (more than 15 rooms are already installed in various organizations).

The project “Escape to Europe” aims to gather partners from 4 countries to develop and to share this non formal education method. After the project is finished, a methodical e-book will be released to train youth workers how to use this method.

TC “Escape to Europe”is a creative joint between business (entertainment) and non-formal education. In this case intelligent entertainment is used as a method for non-formal education to develop social, personal and other competences of youth and youth workers.

16 youth workers from 4 countries (Poland, Estonia, Bulgaria and Lithuania) will be on a training course to create live escape games in a background of refugee crisis.

Youth workers will be trained to create scenarios, stories and tasks for live escape games. During the TC participants will share their experiences, will work in international groups and generate new better ways of using this method for educational purposes to increase empathy in global issues, such as refugee crisis or other global education topics.
