Your Future under Construction

The overall aim of the TC is to increase the awareness of personal and professional strengths and authenticity among youth workers/teachers during a personal journey of self-discovery.

We believe that believing in yourself and in what you’re doing is inevitable for success in your life. In your own professional life as well as in your private life.

This belief in yourself and your capacities are based on the concept of Inner Leadership, which leads to a better understanding of who you are. If you know yourself better, you’re more able to make the right decisions. The right decisions mean here: decisions who suits you, or in other words: decisions which are the closest to the core of who you really are. To come to this point in your life you have to go through a learning process. Some of us are lucky to get this learning process automatically from their birth, but also many among us not. In general it’s important that persons as young as possible get the chance to empower their skills by understanding who they are. Empowering young people through this process will lead to an increased employability.

The overall aim of the TC is to increase the awareness of personal and professional strengths and authenticity for 28 youth workers during a personal journey of self-discovery.

Objectives:
– To support youth workers to become more aware of themselves, thus to enable them to make conscious choices and decisions that fit with their (professional) goals in life.
-To provide youth workers with tools to support youth they work with through a similar process.
– To raise the awareness of the market-value of young persons on the labour market by working on their self-confidence and empowering
-To understand how our behaviour is influenced by our perception of ourselves and by how others see us.
-To look how you can rely on powerless, inconvenient feelings and deal constructively with them.
– To reflect on their own learning process by using the Key Competences from the Youth Pass.
-To improve competencies for efficient access on labour market for youth workers

The profile of the participants are youth workers from Ngo´s and public bodies who are involved in employability issues and advising all kinds of youngsters.

In order to ensure the high quality of the meeting given the objectives that have been set, participants should be youth workers that are:
