I REJECT, DO YOU? 2.0

Training course for youth workers & youth leaders who want to learn about successful and innovative tools to prevent and fight against gender based violence and how to develop critical thinking in youth about what GBV is to generate healthy behaviors.

The general Aim of the Training Course is to learn in the international environment about the topic of the Gender Based Violence in the youth field and to explore tools and methods for prevention and identification of the situations of this type of violence.

Objectives of the Training:
– To learn about causes and consequences of the gender based violence in the youth environment
– To explore different types of gender based violence that exists in the youth settings, which also includes violence online
– To explore tools and methods of the NFE which helps to identify and change violent attitudes among the youngsters
– Build up capacity of youth workers/leaders to work directly with young people in order to help them identify situations of gender based violence and to be able to provide first aid and information about available resources and support structures

The program of the Training will be based on the NFE approach, and will include such topics as: general information and definition of the Gender based violence, causes, signals and consequences; work on the personal introspections about the topic; exploring tools and methods for prevention and identification of signals of gender based violence among young people as well as tools for working with attitudes of young people towards healthy behaviors in their relationships. The training course will explore the topic of GBV both on the level of real life relations as well as online environment.

At the end of the Training the participants will have a chance to develop their own ideas and projects to continue working on the topic afterwards. All the activities will be based on the methodology of experiential learning and holistic approach.
