The concept of this seminar comes from the need to exploit and disseminate the results of researches carried out at Italian and European levels; in particular the impact of TCA activities and RAY researches

The concept of this seminar comes from the need to exploit and disseminate the results of researches carried out at Italian and European levels; in particular the impact of TCA activities and the competence learning and capacity building for youth workers and trainers through RAY researches.

The aim is to test dissemination activities conceived not as mere transmission of information but as new testing forms able to activate a fruitful dissemination process at national and local level, where they can have a further impact.

The two-full-day seminar has been designed to experiment a new form of dissemination activity that would, on the one hand make possible to learn about the research results, and on the other activate a new research-action process with the participants.

Objectives:

a. Disseminate the results of two research projects promoted by the Italian National Agency

b. To validate research results at European level by exploring their dimensions

c.  To design different ways of disseminating the results of interest

Participants:

  • Youth Workers and tutors (beneficiaries) who participated in activities of the Erasmus plus programme
  • Coordinator of youth organisations, Public Administrations and representative of local community who have an interest in increasing the local impact of transnational activities
  • National Agencies

The total number of participants will be 25 and we expect to have two members from each country, a representative of a youth organization and one of a local body (or a from NA staff)

Activities

The dissemination seminar will be organised as follows

a. Presentation of research results

b. Deepening and further validation of the results in focus groups

c. Identification of actions that can foster more learning and impact at local level

d.Identification of the most appropriate dissemination methods

e. Sharing results

Methodology

The work of the seminar will be a dissemination of the results at international level, and, at the same time, it will be a further action-research step that can generate a deeper level of understanding of the results and a greater capacity for dissemination at local level, involving in this action both organisations, public administrations and national agencies.

Expected Results

At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:

a. Have a greater understanding how to better exploit the impact of transnational training at individual, organizational and community level and about how better facilitate learning in mobility actions;

b. To have ideas and tools to be able to disseminate results nationally and locally in line with organisational objectives

Location: The seminar will be held in Rome (Italy) from the 28 November (arrival time) to the 1 December (departure time), 29-30 working days. More details about the logistics and the programme will be sent to participants after the deadline and the following selection
