About Citizens in Action

Citizens in Action in cooperation with the organization “Happy Children Happy Youth” are organizing an international workcamp from the 28th of June 2019 until the 26th of July 2019.

In this one month long project, international volunteers will have a crucial role in the smooth running of the summer camp. They will mainly help in the preparation of the meals and some free time activities for the 140 participating children.

We are looking for 14 highly motivated volunteers, ready to get involved in a demanding but at the same time very rewarding project. The summer camp is hosting children from very deprived social background and is their only chance of enjoying summer holidays in nature and a caring environment.

To join the camp volunteers will need to send together with their application, a motivation letter explaining any special skills or experience that could be enriching for the quality of the camp.

Volunteers will be contacted by Citizens in Action for a short skype interview in order to be sure that they are fully aware of the purpose and demands of this special workcamp.

A Criminal record will be requested after the skype meeting.
