Location: Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England

Duration: 10 months

Placement Dates: 2nd October 2017 – 3rd August 2018

Participating Countries: Estonia, France, Germany, Spain, Romania, Greece, Slovenia, Czech Republic

Travel Costs: Project funding covers up to a maximum total of 275€ for arrival and departure. If travel costs are higher, the volunteer shall cover the difference in cost.

Financial details: Project funding covers accommodation, utilities, food, local transport and health insurance.

EVS in the UK

European Voluntary Service (EVS) Volunteering Opportunity in the UK, at Asha Center.

Dreams for Life is partner with Asha Center in a lovely project which will give the chance to a young Romanian to volunteer for 10 months in the UK.

Volunteer Profile: age 18-30, proactive, reliable and responsible, interested in sustainable/healthy lifestyle and intercultural/interfaith community living, flexible, entrepreneurial, sociable, open to learn and participate in hands-on activities.

Main Tasks:
– Kitchen assistance: Cooking, Serving and Food Shopping
– House Keeping and Estate maintenance
– Hospitality of guests and groups
– Biodynamic Gardening
– Local community engagement (in rural English countryside)
– Cultural and artistic events/outings/projects organisation

The application and selection process:

If you are interested to participate in the project you have to fill in an application form and send it to Bogdan Romanica (the responsible from Dreams for Life), until 15th of June. You can ask for the application form by writing and email to this address: romanica.bogdan@gmail.com

From the persons that will apply, 3-5 persons will be selected and will go through the second selection phase, made by the Asha Center representative (Skype interview included).

On 1st of August the final selection results will be published and 1 Romanian will be part of the project.

The project has been aproved and it will be implemented 100%.
