During this bilateral study visit, youth workers, social workers, local youth services and policymakers from Belgium-FL will explore how youth work, youth welfare and youth care are organized on a local level in the Netherlands.

This bilateral study visit is in DUTCH and only open for participants from Belgium-Flanders!

The study visit is organized in partnership between De Ambrassade, Bataljong and the National Agencies Erasmus+ Youth in Action in Belgium-FL (JINT) and in the Netherlands (NJI).

During the 3-days programme the Flemish participants will learn through field visits and participation in the ‘Dag van het Jongerenwerk’ (a large-scale national event for the youth sector):

– how youth work, youth welfare and youth care are organized on the local level;

– what the role of local municipalities in this is and how local partners co-operate;

– how free time is guaranteed for young people in youth care.
