‘Active participation and youth’

The “Active participation and Youth” study session is a two-stage program aiming to integrate young people living in rural areas, particularly those with fewer opportunities and disabilities, into society.

We will meet for the first stage on July 22-28 in Sumgait, Azerbaijan, after which each participant is required to implement local actions in their communities. All results will be presented in the second stage, which will be held in Germany in the spring of 2023.

During this first stage, you will learn about your social rights and define your civic responsibilities and understand how to become active citizens. Along the way, you will acquire skills to advocate for human rights and equality and understand the significant role of non-formal education in the lifelong learning process.

We are looking for active young people living in rural areas who are motivated to raise awareness of social rights in their communities. Furthermore, we welcome employees of executive authorities/municipalities interested in working with disadvantaged groups. As the project is exclusively in English, you need to be able to communicate confidently.
