Everyone has a unique perspective on the world and the ability to share it with the rest of us. This individuality is what we want you to bring.
No matter if you are a nerd or a drag queen, you already are what the world wants to see.
In this Youth Exchange, we embraced our oddness and create videos to discover our authentic selves, as well as empower others to do the same.

“Sometimes, being different feels a lot like being alone. But with that being said, being true to that and being true to my standards and my way of doing things in my art and my music, everything that has made me feel very different…in the end, it has made me the happiest.” – Lindsey Stirling

Values through Photography
First day of Audiovisual Youth Program. And we start by Immortalizing a moment that represents us, that shows the world we believe in. Sharing our hopes and values is the most human way to get to know each other.

Express your Vision
Communication is key. In order to successfully carry out any audiovisual project, the director needs to make everyone understand what they want to create. Today we learned how to express our ideas and our vision using only our voice.

Video making
Do you recognize the movie?
Today we learned how the meaning of a scene can change only by choosing different camera angles and letting the silence unfold.

Brainstorming
The final project begins!
Today we gathered the creative team and started brainstorming. No matter how crazy the ideas were, we shared them and wrote them down. Then we picked the most interesting ones, and we started developing the story. It’s all about team effort and reciprocity. Let’s go!
Scent of the Past
We’ve published the first video, it’s called Scent of the Past.
It’s one of the many videos we created during our first activities in the program.
In this case, the story tells us how scent can take us back in time.
Hope you enjoy it.
Storyboard
Before we start shooting, it’s important to have everything ready. Drawing a storyboard will help the whole team understand how the scenes unfold. That will allow us to work faster and more efficiently.

Production
Once we had proper brainstorming, picked up the best ideas, and visualized the scenes through a storyboard, is time to immortalize the story with the camera. Set your ISO, shutter speed, and aperture, and let the filming magic begin.
Cave Man
After 3 days of preproduction, production, and post-production, we finally finished our short film. It’s been possible thanks to the effort of every participant, who has collaborated through all the departments, from scriptwriting and editing to costume design, camera operating, and scout location.
When we all join our strengths to fulfill the same objective, beautiful things can happen.
Finish
FIN 🎬
All good must come to an end. It’s been an incredible 10-day journey, full of challenges and new adventures. We learned all the processes of film production, and we put them into practice. But the best part is that we did it surrounded by new and everlasting friends who turned this experience into one we will never forget..
See you next time, Good Bye
“I’ve learn so much about working in teams when sometimes every one of us has different visions of the final result. Also watching others work with their cameras helped me to improve in the simplest skills.”
“It was quite productive ways because we can learn from the facilitators, but also from each other during the project. I really enjoyed working in teams of 4-5 people. It makes you know each other better and also improve your communication and level of understanding each other”
“The videos we watched were very educational and interesting. I honestly didnt notice how much details are there in film making. I also tried to mediate a big conversation and honestly only wasted time but still. I learned a bit about languages and i love that.”
