Developing Educational Materials on Political (left) History
Topic
It is a part of the organisation’s history project in 2022, to discover stories of left history and resistance, as well as develop educational materials for children and young people.
Organisation
Hashomer Hatzair was active in several cities in Germany until 1939. In 2022, the secular Jewish youth association celebrates the 10th anniversary of its reestablishment by bringing together the new, young generation in a search for traces and memories of the earlier generation.
Seminar
The seminar is a part of the second phase of a history project, where we would like to discover less known stories of left history and resistance, as well as develop educational materials for children and young people that can be used for intergenerational exchange.This training builds on peer-education on the base of socialist and social-democratic values. Following the seminar, educational materials will be published.On August 13th we plan an Open Day where you can offer a workshop or a discussion, with our community and friends.
