Training course: Inclusive Partnership

Location: Piatra Neamt, Romania

Dates: 19th to 26th of February

Eligibility: Applicants must be aged 18+, living in the UK, Romania, Lithuania, Spain  and have an interest in youth work or be currently engaged in youth work (either on a paid or voluntary basis).

Costs: Each successful applicant will receive free accommodation, meals and flights to and from Romania; The international travel cost will be reimbursed, up to 275 euros.

 

Inclusive Partnership

The Inclusive Partnership project aims to improve youth workers competencies in relation to inclusive activities for young people with fewer opportunities and more specifically, for young people from rural or poor urban areas.

The 8 days training course in Romania will help youth workers share experiences and gain the following competencies:

  • Build positive, non-judgemental relationships with young people
  • Relate to young people as equals
  • Create safe, motivating and inclusive learning environments for individuals and groups
  • Use a range of educational methods including ones that develop creativity and foster motivation for learning
  • Assist young people to identify and take responsibility for the role they want to have in their community and society
  • Actively include young people from a diverse range of backgrounds and identifications in youth work activities
