Žmogaus teisių praeitis, dabartis ir ateitis

“Karikatūruoti ateitį“ yra Lietuvos jaunimui skirta programa, karikatūromis įkvėpianti jaunąsias kartas kritiškai mąstyti apie šios dienos žmogaus teisių problemas ir sąžiningu bei atviru dialogu formuoti bendrą ateities viziją, kuri mums reikalinga judeti į priekį. Programa padidins sąmoningumą tarp skirtingų perspektyvų, iškels praeities ir dabarties žmogaus teisių problemas, atspindėdama du antrojo pasaulinio karo herojus – Nyderlandų konsulą Janą Zwartendijką ir Nobelio taikos premijos laureatą Andrejų Sacharovą – stiprinant atsparumą ir skatinant jaunimo pasitikėjimą savo gebėjimais turėti balsą ir prisiimti atsakomybę formuojant savo ateitį … visa tai tampant pasaulinės nuolatinės karikatūrų mozaikos dalimi. #Cartooningthefuture – Kartu mes nusprendžiame, kas toliau!

Šventė dvejose šalyse

Pagerbdama 100 metų dvišalį Lietuvos ir Nyderlandų bendradarbiavimą, Nyderlandų Karalystės ambasada Lietuvoje kviečia jaunimą visoje šalyje pasidalinti savo idėjomis apie būsimą visuomenę. Mūsų bendradarbiavimas ir tvirti santykiai yra pagrįsti bendromis vertybėmis, pagarba žmogaus teisėms, demokratijos, teisinės valstybės svarba ir mūsų saugumo puoselėjimu. Siūlomos jaunimo idėjos bus paverstos profesionaliomis karikatūromis, kad būtų pradėtas dialogas apie skirtingas perspektyvas ir vizijas, kaip mes matome savo bendrą ateitį kaip #stronger2GETHER. Karikatūros bus šventiškai parodytos per parodą 2021 m. Lapkričio 3 d. Priklausomai nuo pandemijos, programos dalyviai bus kviečiami prisijungti asmeniškai arba internetu. Karikatūrų paroda, paremta jaunimo idėjomis, bus pristatyta sprendimus priimantiems asmenims ir keliaus į skirtingus Lietuvos miestus, kad jie skatintų dialogą.

Jaunimo programa yra inicijuota Nyderlandų Karalystės ambasados Lietuvoje, koordinuojama Olandijos švietimo organizacijos „The Next Movement“ ir sukurta kartu su Andrejaus Sacharovo demokratinės raidos tyrimų centru, Lietuvos nevyriausybine organizacija „Inovatyvi Karta“, meno ir kultūros rezidencijų programa Artihost.eu bei Pasauline keliavimo ir mokymosi platforma Abroadship.org.

“Karikatūruoti ateitį” programa (3.5 valandos): prašome JUS pasidalinti savo idėjomis apie tai, kokios JŪS tikitės ateities, kokius šiandienos klausimus norėtumėte pamatyti išspręstus ar pakeistus?
Internetu: pasaulinis, daugiau nei 700 karikatūristų tinklas, naudodamasis KARIKATŪRŲ galia pavers JŪSŲ idėjas MŪSŲ ateitimi.

Paroda: jūsų idėjomis paremtos karikatūros bus rodomos parodose ir jomis bus dalijamasi su sprendimų priėmėjais
Susitikimas Seime, Vilniuje: Prisijunk prie DIALOGO ir padėk FORMUOTI ateitį, kurios MUMS reikia!

Kas gali dalyvauti?

Programa yra visiškai nemokama. Programa skirta jaunimui (15–35 metų), kuriems įdomu pasidalinti savo vizija, kaip turėtų atrodyti ateitis, domėtis dialogais su bendraamžiais ir norintiems praktikuoti ar ugdyti naujas kritinio mąstymo ir atsparumo kompetencijas.

Human Rights past, present and future

Cartooning the Future is a programme for Lithuanian youth, that through the power of cartoons aims to inspire younger generations to think critically about Human Rights issues of the day and by way of honest and open dialogue work towards shaping a united vision for a future we need moving forward. Along the way, the programme will grow awareness between different perspectives, bring Human Rights issues of the past and present into the forefront by reflecting on two WOII heroes – Dutch Consul Jan Zwartendijk and Nobel Peace Prize winner Andrei Sakharov – build resilience, and foster youth’s confidence in their ability to have a voice and take ownership in shaping their own future… all while becoming part of a global ongoing mosaic of cartoons. #Cartooningthefuture – Together, we define what’s next!

Celebration between two countries

In honour of 100 years bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and the Netherlands, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lithuania is inviting youth across the country to share their ideas about the future society. Our cooperation and strong relationship is based on common values, respect for human rights, the importance of democracy, the rule of law and protecting our security. Suggested youth’s ideas will be turned into real professional cartoons to open the dialogue about different perspectives and visions on how we see our joint future as #stronger2GETHER #Cartooningthefuture. The cartoons will be festively shown during an exhibition on the 23rd of September 2021. Depending on the pandemic situation, participants of the programme will be warmly invited to join either in person, or online. The exhibition of cartoons, based on youths’ ideas, will be presented to decision makers and travel to different Lithuanian towns to foster the dialogue.

This youth programme, on initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lithuania, is coordinated by the Dutch Educational Organisation The Next Movement and co-created with the Andrei Sakharov Research Centre for Democratic Development, Lithuanian NGO Inovatyvi Karta and Global traveling and learning platform Abroadship.org.

Cartooning the future programme (4 hours): we ask YOU to share your ideas about how YOU hope the future should look, what are today’s issues you’d like to see solved or changed?
Online: A global network of over 700 cartoonists will turn YOUR ideas for OUR future into life, through the power of CARTOONS.

November 3rd

Exhibition: The cartoons, based on your ideas, will be shown in exhibitions and shared with decision makers
Meeting at Seimas in Vilnius: Join the DIALOGUE and help SHAPE the future WE need!

Who can participate?

The programme is entirely free. The programme is designed for youth (15-35 years old), who are curious to share their vision on how the future should look, interested in dialogues with peers and who are keen to practice or develop new competences on critical thinking and resilience.
