We cannot use our time in the most efficient way while dealing with e-mails, numerous meetings and trying to do many things at the same time. What if we try another method to make the best use of our time?

We will give 8 tips to keep busy people more productive and productive.

1- CHECK THE TIME

If you want to control your time, the first step is to understand how you spend your time. In your view, if you can’t get clarity about what works and what doesn’t, you can’t make a change.

Therefore, try to reach the big picture by reviewing how much value you have for each project and task. Make a note of how important each task and project really is to you by simplifying things to do. This way you can quickly understand whether you are using your time efficiently.

I suggest you try to do this practice for seven days.

How to Control Time?

  • Take a blank paper
  • Date at the top
  • Draw three lines down the paper
  • The title of the first column is “The things I like to do the most”
  • The second column’s title is ”The things I do well”
  • The title of the third column is ”The things I don’t like very much.

“The things I like to do the most”; You can write jobs that are your favorite, the most successful, and usually result in success.
”The things I do well”; You can write things that you like to do, you get good results, but they are generally repeating themselves and someone else can do it as much as you do or better than you do.
”The things I don’t like very much.; you can write things that you don’t get excited about, usually do not get good results.

For each task or project you do, place it on the columns. Remember to write down the name of the project and how much time it takes to make this placement. At the end of this 7-day practice, note how much time you spend on all projects and tasks.
To practice this, you can use Toggle or Harvest instead of paper.

This exercise will open your eyes, revealing how much time you spend on each task. At the end of this practice, look for ways to make your time management more efficient and ask yourself how to spend more time on the things you enjoy the most.

2- PUT THE TIME MANAGEMENT GOALS

Without a clear vision or goal, it will be easier to distract your attention. By clarifying where you are and where you want to go, it will be easier for you to concentrate your time on the goals that will help you reach your goals and at the same time, to the jobs you love and which are important to you.

By setting specific, measurable goals, you can define what the future of your dream looks like and create your own plan and path to reach this dream.
When creating this path; be clear about your destination, your resources, which people are with you, and time management.
By understanding what you do well and what makes you feel great, you can create clarity about how to best manage your time and how to achieve your goals.
Mastering time management is about how you make changes and who helps you become more efficient in making these changes.
Setting goals will save you time and provide you with the will and motivation you need to reduce your workload and postponement.
Set your 90-day goals and review your performance at the end of this 90 days. Look what works, what doesn’t, and then set a goal for another 90 days.

3- DO NOT SPEND TIME WITH UNIMPORTANT WORKS, CONCENTRATE THE WORKS YOU LIKE

When you complete the time check, you know what activity and how much time you spend. And as a result, you can better understand your strengths and the things that are important to you, and improve them more and more.
Sometimes we concentrate on a job we don’t like and we actually get away from what we love to do. If we focus more on what we like to do and we work harder on it, we can manage to take back all those times we lost. So think carefully about where you want to give your energy and your most creative thoughts.

Try using these tips;

– Try out remove from your life 3 projects or tasks in the ”the things I don’t like very much” section of the 90-day practice I mentioned above.

– Try putting 3 items in your life in the ”things I like to do the most – section.

– Try to spend more time with the ”things I do well” section.

4- START PRIORITIES THINGS

The first thing you will do to make your goals a reality is how to set your priorities when you want to spend your time and are clear and willing about your future goals.

If you do not set your priorities, you may have difficulty in focusing on what you want to do, and you may be distracted and start to postpone.
If there are 20 items in your to-do list, they will be lost in these substances and you can never do things, and even these substances will go away with time.

If you are overly busy, the key to managing your time is to focus on and prioritize activities that will help you reach.
To provide time management, you must add up to 5 things you prefer to your to-do list.
After completing them completely, you can specify other priorities and write them to your to-do list.
By doing so, you can avoid distraction by focusing on what you really care about.

5- DO THE FIRST IMPORTANT THING

For effective time management, the first thing to ask yourself; ” What is the most important task to finish today?”

Once you have clarified the answer to this question and are committed to completing it, there is no reason why you should not complete it.

The question we ask ourselves will prevent you from distracting you and getting lost in the daily chaos.

You ask why? Before you start your day, you have answered this question with your own free will. And believe, your will will be enough to implement this decision.

If you have identified the most important task as meeting with potential customers or preparing for a presentation, do the most important job you set in the morning.

Avoid doing more than one job at the same time. Focus on one project at a time and work on it until you’re done.

The most important work you do, whatever you do on that day, even if you do not have a day to do anything important.

Using these tips you can evaluate your time in the most efficient way.

6- CREATING A BEAUTIFUL MORNING AND EVENING ROUTINE

If you raise yourself physically and mentally, you will find yourself more productive and more focused on the activity you want to do. Creating a morning routine for yourself will allow you to focus more on the daily goals you need to reach and will make you more energetic throughout the day. Daily, spend 60-90 minutes ”High Performance” time for each target you want to achieve. Making a healthy breakfast, reading books, meditating, going for a walk will help. Spend time on what activity or goal you have set yourself, and set your priorities well.

Decide the first thing you want to focus on, do it at first until you complete that goal. Because achieving our goals requires dedication and continuity.
It’s normal for you to have a hard time at first. This is like starting to do the same sports, making it easier to do with time.
If you want to double your productivity, create the evening routine to support your morning routine.

7- DIVIDE WORKING TIME

In order to be more free, avoid doing multiple jobs at the same time and leaping from one job to the other so that you can take control of your feelings and stress and manage your time more efficiently.

Divide your work into 60/60/30. So what is the principle of this 60/60/30?

After 50 minutes of work and two sets of 10-minute breaks, it works as a half-hour break. These half-hour breaks can be spent walking or reading a book.

This strategy will enable you to use your energy efficiently throughout the day and reach your real goals.

8- TAKE THE TIME FOR YOURSELF

How often do you spend your own time celebrating small or big successes you’ve accomplished during the day?

It is a success measure for some to work long hours and get the most work done.

But a person who is constantly doing this will probably get burnt out after a while.

Efficient use of time will return as the time required for your business, the time to reach your goals and the extra time you can spend with yourself and the people you care about.
