Facilit(a)ction

The aim is to develop youth workers’ Experiential Learning facilitation skills. In this training course, participants will acquire the skills to design, facilitate and debrief Experiential Learning workshops.

We take Experiential Learning (EL) as a process in which participants explore a certain topic through experiencing nonformal education methods, extracting learning outcomes by reflecting upon the experience, conceptualizing it and finding out how to apply them in the future. This training course is based on non-formal education, being highly participatory and interactive.

The methodologies used include gamification and body movement.

The flow of the program is inspired in the Kolb cycle of Experiential Learning: experience, reflection, conceptualization and applicability.

Preliminary program per day:
1: Creating a safe learning environment
2: Experiencing Experiential Learning
3: Facilita(c)tion Lab
