Peace Education: Living and Building Peace

A great opportunity for youth workers to learn and get involved with Peace Education! 20 participants will be selected for this unique training course within the framework of a Key Action 2 Strategic Partnership about Mainstreaming Peace Education.
The course is held within the frame of the Mainstreaming Peace Education – Competence Framework’ project (see attachment). It will be based on non-formal methodology.

The main aim of the course is to increase the quality of peace education activities in the youth sector.
The course objectives are:
– To equip youth workers with Peace Education competences related to the following areas: diversity, nonviolence, participation, interdependence, living and building peace
– To explore the role of youth and youth organisations in Peace Education
– To explore the challenges of young people engaged in Peace Education in participant countries
– To plan and develop Peace Education activities to be implemented after the course
