Permaculture Design Course – Do it with Nature

PDC 2016 is an educational experience that is informal and based on using permaculture as youth work.

The objective of this PDC – Permaculture Course Design – is to provide a solid foundation in permaculture so that one can contribute to life in a way that is environmentally aware and responsible. In addition, this course aims to support the transition to cultivating self-sufficiency and developing the personal empowerment to create change in one´s community and hence the world.

Who is PDC 2016 for?

This course is aimed at youth workers and educators.

This course combines both a theoretical and practical approach and is focused on permaculture as a valuable tool for youth work and education.

What are the goals of PDC 2016?

To find another perspective of the world, a holistic vision of life and the complex environment we live in and to understand the relationships between these. This will involve unlearning some of our learned processes, so that we can benefit from new paradigms, other values and ethics that will provide us with a more sustainable and better humankind.

During the course we will teach you the fundamentals, we will arm you with the necessary tools and we will give you a vision and the confidence so that you, ideally in your community, can begin your journey on this new road of respect, satisfaction and responsibility.

We sincerely hope that during your time at the 2016 PDC you find the spiritual guidance and intellectual stimulation along with the practical tools and skills you need to guide you on your personal journey of development. We also hope that when you return home you will be more equipped to carry out your role in the creation of a more harmonious world. We can be part of the solution … co-creating a better humanity that is fairer and more beautiful for everyone, a process that is the source from which and for which we build an emerging future.

Location: Arboretum Marbella The course is being held at, the award-winning permaculture project of Citizen Eco-innovation for Climate Change.

Arboretum Marbella is a conservation park for native species, organic gardens and other spaces that inspire development and encourage an eco-friendlier consciousness and a more sustainable life, through permaculture.
