INTUITIVE thinking (especially working in tandem with analytical thinking) is positively associated not only with better, faster and more accurate decision-making processes but also with happiness and a sense of autonomy and freedom. This is why it’s important–and today probably more than ever–to connect to our intuition and to exercise it.

By recalling our gentle side, people learn to make decisions which doesn’t seem to be economically logical (e.g. spending their free time in support to charity, community meeting, playing with kids, etc.), but which brings happiness to their life and to the life of the others.

This is why we are here.

During  Intuitive Literate participants were invited to put, through the medium of art, whatever was alive in them in the present moment. The result was a gallery of human-sized art, connecting the body and mind, representing thoughts, dreams, hopes, fears, and aspirations. This video is that gallery animated with the help of AI magic. Intuition is a complex and never-ceasing process working to help us manage the complexities of life. Art is one of the powerful mediums through which we can gain access to it and explore it.

Day 0: We are all different and intuitive

Today 31 participants and 7 leaders from UK, Greece, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria and Latvia gathered in Intuitive Literate youth exchange in Kennington, United Kingdom.

Participants say about their experience at the programme:

“It helped me more connect with myself and effected the way I think.”

“I improved my communication with people, I strengthened my intuition in nature”

Lets build teams

On the first day we successfully broke the ice in-between us and get to know each other. We drew portraits of each other, created nice envelopes and build our trust with the spider web game!

Quote of the day:
“Getting to know someone else involves curiosity about where they have come from and who they are”

Intuitition and Nature

Today was a beautiful, sunny day so it was perfect for group activities in nature. The main question that we had to discuss was “Are you more chaotic person or structural person.”

After that we went to the nearest park and explored the place using different senses like touch, smell, sound, vision…

At the end we created a mosaic from things that we found at the park and felt connected to.

Exploring Nature

Intuition and nature🧠💭🍃

We explored nature using our different senses. The senses are intuition what reason is to analysis.

Intuition and Impro

Today we were doing different activities like dancing, acting… We didn’t use our imagination and intuition to move, instead we improvised and trusted our feelings.

Open Space day

By listening to our intuition certain people made initiative to bring all the people together pump the blood and warm our bodies with movement.

Nature

Today we spent some quality time outside visiting some beautiful city’s around Kennington. Our participants went see Dover, Canterbury and Folkestone! The day was amazing, sunny and we really enjoyed the time together!😇

Expressing ourselves through meditation

We experienced meditation in three different ways: meditation as relaxation, meditation as movement/dance/connection and interaction with the environment and people, and meditation as art!

Dancing

Intuitive dance is part of intuitition

Time to wrap the experiences

Time to say goodbye to our new friends, facilitators and the place where we spent all week together! This was truly amazing experience and we hope to see each other some other day!😇

See you, Intuitive literate’s!😜

See you next time

“The project really opened me towards the people. I made strong connections and broadened my horizons with new ideas. Moreover I AM willing to travel more to meet people from project again.”

“Learning about non violent communication really helped me understand faults in my relationships. It also helped me with reflecting on them. I also improved my soft skills and language skills.”

“During the programme we expressed our feelings through dancing, drawing, “theatre”. We went to the nature to feel more our inside feelings. It was supported by story and also by lovely nature which was really healing. We did interculture nights where we represented our country. Also we represented us by our behaviour. We tried to express ourselves in understandable sentences. There were a lot of games which we played on our own or we worked together in a small groups or in a whole group.”

“All activities were really nice and connected with the main idea and also made all participants connect with themselves and with each other.”

“This was my first Erasmus+ project and i have learned a lot about myself and other cultures. I was responsible about posting in social media, so I developed my digital skills. 101% I improved my english language skills, because we talked a lot . I loved the way of informal education – I have never had problems with dancing in public ect. but seeing that everyone is partecipating gave me more confidence about myself.”

“1. I had the great chance to practice my english speaking skills with the other participants and british people, so I feel much more confident in my knowledge of the english language.
2.Throughout the project from the different activities I gained some insight on how to learn better on my own, how to listen to others more carefully and actively and to learn from their experiences. But I also got the chance to lead some of the activities (yoga practice, game of musical chair), so now I also have more experiences when it comes to showing or teaching others different things.
3. I learned so much about the other participants’ countries from the cultural evenings. I found the folk dance of each country especially fun and intriguing!”
