Picture the Change is a three-stage project that aims at exploring the potential of participatory photography as a method for supporting young people at risk of exclusion.

During this project you will learn what participatory photography is, analyze it from a methodological
perspective, and with the support of the facilitators’ team you will be able to plan and implement local workshops in your own community.

Picture the Change consists of three stages:
1. Intro training course in Denmark: November 2023 (27th of November to 5th of December 2023)
2. Local workshops back in your home country: December 2023 – February 2024
3. Sum-up training in Armenia: March 2024 (dates to be annouced soon)

Youth workers taking part in the training in Denmark are expected to stay involved in the projec throughout all its stages.

Who are we looking for?

  • youth workers/volunteers/activists experienced in working with youth at risk of exclusion
  • interested in exploring digital tools and using them in their work
  • familiar with principles of non-formal education
  • being able to communicate fluently in English
